I value curiosity, openness, authenticity, and compassion. My practice is holistic, and I provide mental health care that is personalized to the unique needs of each individual I work with. I believe we all need to feel supported, understood, accepted, and connected to others in order to thrive. We all want to feel a sense of purpose and find meaning in life. Being human can be challenging and we’ve all been stuck before. I’m here to partner with you and empower you as make positive change and start to move forward.

I'm Tara (she/her). If you've landed here you have taken a courageous step to seek out the support you deserve. I know from personal experience how meaningful and transformative it can be to work with a therapist who really gets you, and to have a witness to your experiences in life.

I'm a lover of learning, nature, animals, and creative expression. I also believe strongly in the importance of having deep connection with others and being in community. I seek to find the humor in life and try to live mindfully, appreciating the present moment. I always look for opportunities to broaden my knowledge and feel grateful to work in a field that is ever-evolving.

Reach out to me to schedule a 20 minute complimentary phone consultation. I offer this knowing how essential it is to feel connected to your therapist. I’ll learn more about you and your goals for therapy, describe how I work, and answer any questions you have. Together we’ll decide if I’m the right therapist to support you.

Schedule a virtual or in person session. This first appointment will provide us with the opportunity to further explore if we’re a good fit. Prior to meeting, you’ll be invited and send a link to login to my client portal, where you’ll review and complete my practice intake forms electronically.

During our initial session I’ll gain a better understanding of what’s bringing you in as we talk about both the present and your history. We’ll talk about what your goals are and what you hope to achieve from therapy. I’ll share initial insights and we’ll collaboratively come up with a plan for working together.
